Our early decision process is designed to give you more choice and control over your law school admissions process. In addition to offering an application fee waiver, our early decision gives you at least 48 hours to consider our offer. You’ll know whether you have been accepted to Wake Forest Law and receive any scholarship award by the end of November 2019.
You decide whether to make the decision binding.
If you decide to accept our offer through the early decision process, you will agree to attend Wake Forest the next fall semester, pay a seat deposit, and withdraw applications from all other law schools.
If you are not ready to make a decision, you’ll also be able to transfer your application into the regular application pool. Pursuing this option means that you will forfeit your early decision scholarship and acceptance offers.

Application decisions will be released on a rolling basis throughout the process with all application decisions being released on or before November 22, 2019.
Early decision applicants will receive priority consideration for the entering class. Accepted students will receive their admissions decision by the end of November, which allows applicants more time to plan and prepare for their transition to law school. The early decision also comes with an application fee waiver.
If you accept our offer of admission, you commit to attend Wake Forest Law the next fall semester. This agreement also means that you must withdraw any pending applications, reject any offers of admission, and not initiate or submit any new law school applications.
Acceptance of the offer also requires the payment of a seat deposit within 10 business days of accepting the offer.
Candidates will typically be provided a 48-72 hour window to accept our offer or request an application transfer to Wake Forest Law’s regular application pool. Candidates who do not communicate their decision by the conclusion of the timeframe will have their offer rescinded and will be transferred to the regular admissions process automatically.
Candidates who apply through this process will automatically be considered for merit-based scholarships. The consideration process for these scholarships is the same as is given to applicants in the regular application process.
Applicants can be accepted, denied, or waitlisted. Accepted applicants will have the option to request the transfer of their application to the regular application process for re-consideration.
